The number of people dying from cancer is increasing according to data from the World Health Organization (WHO). The killer disease is the second leading causes of death worldwide and accounts for about 9.6 million deaths in 2018.

Across the world, an estimate of 1 in 6 deaths is because of cancer. Scientific Report links the consumption of sugary drinks with increased cancer risk.

Scientific facts associate what you eat with the risk of cancer. You’ve probably heard that sugar feeds cancer or you should avoid certain foods to prevent cancer.

But people have sweet teeth. Furthermore, the sugar industry makes billions of dollars in its commitment to manufacturing soft drinks, desserts, cooked items, and baked goods. Such artificial sweeteners are synthetic sugar products, which have a higher level of sweetness and have replaced natural sugar products.

Consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages is associated with high insulin levels, which may create an acidic environment, which is more conducive to cancer thrive. High insulin level is highly acidic.  With a pH of 6.2, it is 10 times more acidic than the recommended pH of the blood at 7.4.  You can, therefore, maintain a preventative Ph by eliminating or reducing added sugar.
